    PRESS REPAIR TECHNICIAN

    HPC needs a Press Repair Technician with an Electrical and hydraulic background consisting of at least the following experience: circuitry, PLC, ladder logic, handshake concepts, understanding of I/O, skilled at troubleshooting as well as possessing pneumatic and hydraulic experience.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Follow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
    • Install, set up, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on molding machines, auxiliary, and assembly equipment.
    • Properly document repairs and work orders
    • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
    • Daily improvements
    • Ensure all safety policies are followed.
    • Other projects/responsibilities assigned

    Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Communicate with VSL or the Production manager.
    • Review the preventive maintenance list.
    • Press cleaning
    • Meetings to attend shift, plant, huddle, and book club

    Education/Qualifications/Skills:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum five years of experience in the maintenance field
    • Associate degree in Electro-mechanical technology or the equivalent
    • Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
    • Must be able to walk or stand for long periods
    • Robot automation systems knowledge is a plus.
    • Experience with PLCs and pneumatics a plus
    • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
    • Must pass a physical and drug screen and participate in E-Verify

    MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

    You will support production by designing and building automation systems and robotic end effectors to better aid the operator in producing injection molded plastics. First, work with our team of Engineers to problem-solve various tasks. Then, create 3D parts/assemblies and 2D drawings to build the design in-house.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Improve the safety and quality of life for our employees
    • Communicate with outside vendors
    • Create timelines and project planners to accomplish tasks effectively
    • Create and edit Computer Aided Design drawings/3D models and Assemblies (Solidworks)
    • Improve the quality of products with automation by increasing the efficiency of Operators/tasks
    • Basic Electrical knowledge, safety, circuits, diagrams
    • PLC ladder logic knowledge
    • Open-minded approach to trying new things and developing new skills

    Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Identify areas of improvement for work cells
    • Update online task tracker as projects progress
    • Utilize CAD/3D software
    • Utilize 3D printers to build projects
    • Use a Milling machine, Lathe, or hand tools to create parts from scratch

    Education/Qualifications/ Skills:

    • B.A. in Engineering (any focus)
    • Three years of experience in a plastic injection molding environment
    • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
    • Ability to think critically to find solutions to root problems
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • FDM/SLA 3D printing experience is a plus.
    • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
    • Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify

    Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person, M-F, Salary

    Pay Range: $40,000 – $80,000 per year.

    PROCESS ENGINEER

    Work with Value Stream Leader on production support

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Complete samples (material, tool changes, tool repairs, new tools) and documentation
    • Update existing processes/Review all change requests
    • Train process techs and other personnel
    • Engage in Kaizen events and Hoshin Teams
    • Reduce scrap
    • Reduce cycle time
    • Maintain HPC standards and mentor production personnel
    • Ensure all safety policies are followed
    • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned

    Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Scrap reduction/investigation/troubleshooting
    • Eliminate cycle variation and update cycle times
    • Coordinate with scheduler on samples
    • Complete requests of VSLs and Quality
    • Daily Improvements
    • Meeting to attend: shift (2x/day), plant (2x/week), huddle (daily) and book club (1x/week)
    • Review Set-Up carts

    Education/Qualifications/Skills:

    • 5 years’ experience with setup and operation of plastic injection molding machines
    • Experience with troubleshooting injection molding equipment and processes especially hydraulic presses containing electrical control and heat systems
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Basic Math skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)

    MOLD MAKER

    Support production requirements as scheduled.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Mold Maintenance
    • Troubleshooting tooling issues
    • Mold change overs
    • Value stream support for scrap
    • Documenting PMs and Repairs
    • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
    • Responsible for CNC mill programs
    • Daily improvements
    • Ensure all safety policies are followed
    • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned

    Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Communicate with VSL for production prioroties
    • Tool pre and PMs
    • Assembling and disassembling of stack molds, 3-plate and unscrewing molds
    • Document job tracking
    • Meetings to attend: shift, plant, huddle and book club

    Education/Qualifications/ Skills:

    • B.A. in Engineering (any focus)
    • Three years of experience in a plastic injection molding environment

    INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

    We are looking for an entry to mid-level Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in mechanical maintenance and a working knowledge of industrial machinery and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all types of industrial machinery and equipment. This position requires problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and the willingness to take on challenging tasks.
