INSPECTOR PACKER

Inspect and ensure quality parts per inspection requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate amongst team
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Ensure quality of product produced
  • Report scrap and follow escalation process
  • Daily improvements
  • Ensure all safety polices are followed
  • Other projects/responsibilities assigned

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct inspection and test parts produce by team to control plan, work instruction, and procedures
  • Press cleaning
  • Ensure work space of the team is clean at shift change
  • Running machines
  • Assist foreman in daily running of production
  • Meetings to attend plant and huddle

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Self-motivated
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.
  • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)

1ST SHIFT LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

Flexible between Shipping & Receiving Departments

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Safely operate forklift and/or other material handling equipment to store or move product
  • Ensure Inventory accuracy
  • Data entry using computer
  • Identification, verification, location and record keeping of a wide variety of product. ( Raw material, boxing, packaging, finished product, etc)
  • Follow standard work procedures
  • Use of scales and calculators as needed
  • Load/ Unload trailers
  • Receipt of inbound material
  • Inventory transfers and adjustments
  • Complete daily inspections and record unsafe conditions on power industrial equipment.
  • Ensure HPC’s safety policies are followed and demonstrate safe work practices
  • Ensure order accuracy for internal and external customers
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Generate packing slips and BOL’s for outbound shipments
  • Material staging and Tugger delivery system
  • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned
  • Uphold HPC’s core values and standards

Education/Qualifications/ Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math
  • Self-motivated
  • Must be able to maintain accurate records
  • Forklift experience
  • Good Communicator
  • Energetic and motivated
  • Read and write English
  • Lift 55#
  • Work at heights over 10’
  • Basic computer skills
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
  • Turret truck experience is a plus
  • Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify

Full-Time

1ST SHIFT SET-UP TECHNICIAN

Support production with scheduled change overs of injection molding machines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Following standard operating procedures
  • Assist material handlers and Operators
  • Support plant or shift supervisor when requested
  • Document known issues and suggestions
  • Keep tools organized
  • Ensure all safety policies are followed
  • Other projects/responsibilities

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Perform injection mold set up
  • Injection mold change over as required by production schedule
  • Participate in daily improvements and Kaizen events
  • Clean

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Read and write English
  • Self-motivated
  • Detailed orientated
  • Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify

Full-Time

1ST SHIFT PROCESS ENGINEER

Work with Value Stream Leader on production support

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete samples (material, tool changes, tool repairs, and new tools) and documentation
  • Update existing processes/Review all change requests
  • Train process techs and other personnel
  • Engage in Kaizen events and Hoshin Teams
  • Reducing Scrap
  • Reducing cycle time
  • Maintain HPC standards and mentor production personnel
  • Ensure all safety polices are followed
  • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Scrap reduction/investigation/troubleshooting
  • Eliminate cycle variation and correct cycle times
  • Coordinate with scheduler in samples
  • Complete requests of VSL’s and Quality
  • Daily Improvement
  • Meetings to attend shift (2xs), plant, huddle and book club
  • Review set up carts

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5 years’ experience with setup and operation of plastic injection molding experience
  • Experience with troubleshooting injection molding equipment and processes, especially hydraulic presses containing electrical control and heat systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Math
  • Self-motivated
  • Scientific molding a plus
  • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
  • Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify

Full-Time

3RD SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER

Support production with scheduled change overs of injection molding machines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist inspector packers with transportation of approved product and supplies
  • Grind product
  • Complete material documentation
  • Maintain HPC standards
  • Ensure all safety polices are followed
  • Other projects/responsibilities assigned

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Stage material for injection molding machines
  • Locate and stage packaging for material at end of run
  • Clean grinders, dryers, hoppers, loaders, presses, cleaning room and filters
  • Mix material (resin)
  • Daily Improvement
  • Meetings to attend shift (2xs), plant, huddle and book club

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Math
  • Self-motivated
  • Hands on
  • Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs.
  • Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
  • Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify
